USS CONSTELLATION (CV-64)

I picked up the USS Connie when she arrived in Philadelphia, back in 1990. I was at PSA Philly, and thanks to DPC Fred Deutscher, who could not make up his mind to reenlist (he kept extending month by month), the detailer gave me orders there. I can't seem to recall her name. Great tour in the shipyard for nearly 3 years, and then a month doing work-ups and CQs in the Caribbean, followed by a month inport Mayport Fl. Transferred before she went back around the Horn for San Diego. I bet I am the only DP in the Navy, with 10 years of sea duty, and still a WOG!

Bill Goehner (retired as a LT - DP LDO from the Connie in 1992) may have more than I do, if you count the time he jumped ship to the LDO Community! BTW, do you have a complete list of the DPs that have registered with this site?
