phpBB Email Feature is Broken (PMs, Emails) not working

I'll check into this bug fix as soon as possible.

I did update to the latest version of phpBB, but it still has sending e-mail bugs.

If I had the time, I'm told, I can work with my ISP host and get their SMTP parameters to use that feature for the site. I haven't done that so I can't send my annual mass e-mail to you members.

I've just started two new consulting contracts so I won't be addressing that issue for some time.

Sadly, the latest release of phpBB still hasn't fixed this email feature problem.

Update.
The bug is supposedly corrected, but my web host does not, or is not, setup to allow mass emails so when navydp.com users add comments to the discussions on our forum the system does not send an email to "thread starter" to let them know someone has responded to the thread.

I believe that is one of the reasons navydp.com does not have the activity level I envisioned.

I'll try working with the web host to see what they can do to address this shortcoming.
